Ninfa
When Cristina and I set out for Ninfa we really weren't sure if we would find it or even if it would be open. We asked the directions from a really lovely old guy in Doganella and then we were off. We found Ninfa in a few minutes and at the entrance, the attendant after having spoken to me in Italian assumed that we were the Italian group he had been expecting and that we were late so he hurriedly shuffled us off to join the other group that had started their tour. Little did we know that it wasn't open to the public on that day and just by a stoke of luck and his presumptuousness we were in and only for €20 each. He later told is that we were lucky and that we weren't meant to be there...someone was looking after us...
